Dr Veena Vohra is Professor – Human Resources and Behavioral Sciences at the School of Business Management, NMIMS, Mumbai. Veena is an MBA, MS in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and PhD (Leadership and Emotional Intelligence). After a brief corporate stint at Dabur India Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services, she has been with NMIMS for the last 18 years. She teaches Case Study Research and Qualitative Research in the PhD program and Organizational Behavior, Change Management, Emotional Intelligence and Appreciative Inquiry in the MBA and MBA HR programs. She has received several awards for her services and teaching. Veena has designed and chaired the impactful MBA HR program, and served as the chair of the flagship MBA program at School of Business Management. Veena has also served as Associate Dean at SBM, driving several innovations in student centric learning and the institutionalization of several academic administrative practices. 


Veena’s research, consulting and training interests lie in the domains of the psychology of change management, leadership and emotional intelligence. She has designed and delivered several impactful leadership development programs to industries across sectors and contexts. Veena combines pedagogical expertise with conceptual knowledge to develop client centered learning solutions for performance enhancement. Veena brings in her learnings from the study and practice of Positive Psychology and Emotional Intelligence to her speaking engagements.


Veena has published a number of research papers in national and international journals and has co-authored several books and case studies.
